What We Do

We’re a small boutique law firm specializing in real estate law. Our primary focus is representing condominium and homeowner associations in Oregon and Washington. We have offices in NW Portland, Vancouver, WA and Bend, OR. We also handle real estate transactions, boundary disputes, easement and access issues, and general litigation.

Our Roots

Fourteen years ago, Kevin Harker was working for a mid-sized regional firm based in Portland, and specializing in homeowner association and condominium law. At the firm, Kevin litigated more than a dozen construction defect claims, served as general counsel for numerous condominium and homeowner associations, drafted bylaws and declaration amendments, prepared association resolutions, and collected delinquent assessments. 

In 2014, Kevin decided to use the knowledge and vast experience he gained at the previous firm to open his own firm: Community Association Law Group. In August 2019 Bruce Lepore and Kevin Harker became law partners and changed the name of the firm to Harker Lepore LLC.

Why Do We Practice Law?

Problem solving, litigating, writing. All the common reasons you’ve heard before. But for us, the primary reason we enjoy the law is the people. We’re social animals that thrive on building relationships, understanding what motivates people, and helping our clients sleep better at night.
