Juliet A. Hayden
I am a lifelong Oregonian with a love of learning. Prior to my career in law, I earned two bachelor’s degrees—a B.A. from Oregon State University in New Media Communications in 2012 and a B.S. from Southern Oregon University in Psychology in 2018. I spent seven years running a wedding photography business out of Ashland, Oregon. While living in Ashland, I was introduced to the world of HOAs, where I served many roles on my HOA’s Board of Directors.
When the pandemic paused my wedding photography business, I decided to attend law school. During my time at the University of Oregon School of Law, I served as an Associate Editor of the Oregon Law Review, where I was awarded the Maxine Lee Award for Excellence in Editing. I developed a keen interest in real estate and property law; I volunteered for various tenants rights and housing organizations, and my scholarly article exploring the role tax strategies play in addressing Oregon’s housing crisis was published in Oregon Law Review’s 101st volume. Upon graduation in Spring 2024, I was awarded pro bono honors and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. I sat for and passed the July 2024 Oregon bar exam, and soon after began my career in Bend, Oregon, before ultimately deciding to relocate to Portland, Oregon.
When I’m not in the office, I am likely tending to my flower garden, spending time with my husband, Justice (as the name suggests, he’s also an attorney), or photographing our four beautiful pets: Bowie (dog), Bitty (cat), Jim (cat), and Mochi (cat).
